American CEOs Are Preposterously Overpaid

While President Trump's budget would cut programs for the poor, like food stamps, health care and student loans, certain other Americans are preposterously overpaid. The pay gap between chief executive officers and their workers is higher than ever before— CEOs get paid between 300 and 700 times more than the average worker. Former CEO Steven Clifford and author of The CEO Pay Machine: How it Trashes America and How to Stop it talks about why exorbitant CEO pay is not only unfair but terrible for companies and their shareholders.
