Can Wall Street Work for Everyone?

The Leonard Lopate Show | Mar 10, 2017

Vanity Fair contributing editor William D. Cohan joins us to discuss his new book Why Wall Street Matters, which argues that Wall Street and the big banks drive innovation and the world economy. Taking into account his 17 years as an investment banker on Wall Street, Cohan looks at how these institutions really work, how they are (and aren’t) regulated and what can be done to make them work better for everyone.

Event: On April 4th, William Cohan will be in conversation with Joe Nocera and signing books at The Core Club (66 East 55th Street) from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
