Bonus Weekend Podcast: Roger Moore

The Leonard Lopate Show | May 27, 2017

Sir Roger Moore played James Bond longer than any other actor, bringing a dapper sophistication and sly humor to the part over the course of seven films. When he took the role at the age of 45, it would eclipse his long television career on series like “The Saint.” We were saddened to hear that he died at the age of 89. We had the good fortune of speaking with him back in 2008, when he came on our show to discuss his memoir My Word is My Bond.
