Autumn Whitefield-Madrano, creator of the popular website The Beheld and the author of Face Value: The Hidden Ways Beauty Shapes Women's Lives (Simon & Schuster, 2016), suggests the scales have tipped too far in seeing "beauty" as a trap women should escape.
