André Previn On Song Travels

Conductor, composer and pianist André Previn has received multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards, including honors from the Kennedy Center, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Grammy Awards. With more than 50 years of recordings to his credit, he has conducted and performed with orchestras the world over, and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. On this episode of Song Travels, Previn and host Michael Feinstein explore recordings of some of his favorite compositions, including an archival demo of Judy Garland performing "I'll Plant My Own Tree" from the film Valley Of The Dolls.
