Amazon, Facebook Pass Exxon To Join Top-5 Largest U.S. Companies

Amazon and Facebook pushed above ExxonMobile Monday to become the fourth- and fifth-largest U.S.-listed companies by market capitalization. That makes the top five companies all technology-based, with Apple, Google and Microsoft leading.

The jump comes after a series of successes, including reports of soaring profits. Here & Now‘s Eric Westervelt speaks with Jason Del Rey of Recode for a look at what’s going on in tech.
