Actor Allison Janney is probably best known for putting out fires as the assertive, confident press secretary C.J. Cregg on "The West Wing." She's also offered support during life-changing situations as Ellen Page's stepmom in "Juno." This time, they reunite in a new film which puts Janney's character in a position of sheer vulnerability.

In "Tallulah," Janney plays "Margo," a nervous academic who has a chance encounter with a young vagabond who's also her estranged son's girlfriend — played by Ellen Page — yearning to take care of a baby she stole from a negligent Beverly Hills housewife.

Here, Janney talks about why she was interested in the film, reuniting with Page, and what C.J. would have to say about the 2016 presidential election.
