Here Ross talks to Blake Eskin about Gesualdo's visionary music and violent life, with excerpts from "Felice Primavera," performed by Marco Longhini and Delitiae Musicae, "Moro, lasso," performed by Concerto Italiano, and the Responsoria cycle, performed by the Hilliard Ensemble.
