Alex Karpovsky Talks New Yorker Festival

Features | Oct 5, 2013

The New Yorker Magazine’s fourteenth annual festival with its customary mix of A-list writers, artists, and Gothamites address topics ranging from the invasion of privacy to where to find "the God particle."

Writer and director Alex Karpovsky, who portrays Ray on the HBO series "Girls," is making his first appearance at the festival as part of a "First Person Filmmaking" panel. He'll be joined by Miranda July, Kenneth Lonergan and Terence Nance, and as he tells WNYC's Sarah Montague, he's a little nervous about it.
