Alan Alda joins us to discuss his book, If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face?: My Adventures in the Art and Science of Relating and Communicating. Alda is fascinated with how people communicate with one another, and he draws from research and his acting background to explore how we can improve those skills.

Alan Alda will appear in conversation with Neil deGrasse Tyson on June 7 at 8 p.m. at the 92nd St. Y's Kaufman Concert Hall (1395 Lexington Ave. at 92nd St). The event is sold out, but a waiting list is available.

He will also appear for a book signing on June 10 at 2 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Union Square (33 E. 17th St., between Park Ave. and Broadway).
