Australian filmmaker Anna Broinowski joins us to discuss her book, Aim High in Creation!: A One-of-a-Kind Journey inside North Korea's Propaganda Machine. When Browinski needed guidance on making a powerful environmental film against fracking, she sought help from the world’s most powerful propaganda machine in Pyongyang. After two years of arguing her case, she was granted a 21-day apprenticeship in North Korea. Her book, based on her documentary, gives an inside look at an isolated society.
