"What's next for conservatives?"

In a speech delivered at the Heritage Foundation yesterday, Senator Mike Lee addressed this question. It's a good question, as GOP poll numbers have tanked following the government shutdown earlier this month that Lee helped lead.

“Especially in the wake of recent controversies, many conservatives are more frustrated with the establishment than ever before and we have every reason to be," Lee said in prepared remarks. "But however justified, frustration is not a platform, anger is not an agenda, and outrage as a habit is not even conservative.”

Lee brushed off concerns over party squabbles and doubled down on what he says is the party's top priority: repealing the Affordable Care Act.
