After Just One Day, Aleppo Evacuations Halted

After just one day, the effort to help the wounded, civilians and rebel fighters leave the Syrian city of Aleppo came to halt Friday.

It’s unclear why the evacuation effort was stopped. The government and the opposition blamed each other for the pause. Here & Now‘s Peter O’Dowd checks in with NPR international reporter Alison Meuse (@AliTahmizian).
