Starting today, people can go online to compare and sign up for health insurance plans that will go into effect on January 1st. After years of legislative wrangling over the Affordable Care Act (ACA), now comes a moment of truth.

Will the public sign up en masse for insurance on the health care exchanges? What kind of outcomes will they see?
