Why do all community organizer's sound like inarticulate sophomores (of the "high school" kind)
without their teleprompters?

In response to Waaahhh!-

Would that I could.

Fifteen minutes for Barbara Ehrenreich and then more than fifteen for the Park slope puffball ( puffed full of self important hot air and no credentials) to simper through questions that he couldn't be bothered to prepare for ? And to tell me "parenthood is hard?" If my teenagers answered teachers in the same manner as "mister whimsy", I would give them a failing grade myself! I literally had the checkbook out and put it back away-sorry.

Brian, way to go with these segments--NOT!! This phony from Chicago was stumping for Obama since at least 2004 based on his earlier writings...and my point is that he has reached the pinnacle of his career and is clinging on for dear life at the age of 38!! A Congressional realignment is our only hope to send this stoner back to Chi-town to "help" Rahm Emmanuel. Bye-bye to the uber-pretentious William "WASP-y" Wimsatt!

Was I imagining things when I heard Brian say this guy is 37 ? Between all the "you know"s & the "right?"s and every other sentence ending with an upturn , he sounds like he's 15. If he writes the way he speaks, his books must be genuinely painful to read.

You Know You Know You Know You Know

He needs to be humbled by life, not elevated by Brian.

Waaahhh!

[[art525 from park slope And yes Unfortunately Park Slope has become a suburb, if only in spirit. It was much more enjoyable twenty years ago. Oct. 25 2010 11:42 AM]]

so build a time machine.

Oct. 25 2010 11:46 AM

This guy needs to stop giggling. Ultimately we're all in this together? Tell that to the Tea Parties and their Fox cheer leaders.

The Titanic wasn't lost....it sank, y'know.

Now he's telling me where to live?! From his perch in Park Slope?!

How vapid. You know what's movement? Smarmy self amused hipsters. (And what's with those mini fedoras they're all wearing that look like they go with lederhausen? Is that a movement?)

And yes Unfortunately Park Slope has become a suburb, if only in spirit. It was much more enjoyable twenty years ago.

Thank you! Finally a progressive has the courage to admit that the far right has stolen the enthusiasm factor this election. You can denigrate the Tea Party all you like, but that won't stop them from taking the House.

Yawn

[[We could go on for three hours about...you know...like...all of the things....]]

[[There's been a new energy of people...like...whoa!...waitaminnit!]]

This guest is, like, whoa!, BRILLIANT! You should have him on, like, you know, every day.

So disappointing. Really, can't my generation get a spokesperson who doesn't say "ya know?" quite so often when he doesn't know what else to say?

This kid doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Twitter has warped his brain.

Something tells me everything this guy says is a "movement" (if you know what I mean).
