Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo says he will not debate his Republican opponent Carl Paladino again before election day.

Speaking at a press event in Manhattan, Cuomo declined an offer by WABC to hold a one-on-one debate.

"There are other things that I want to accomplish before the election day is upon us. I said that I want to visit every county in the state before election day," Cuomo said. "I have 14 more counties that I'm going to visit in this beautiful state."

Paladino has accepted WABC's offer to host a debate, as well one from NY1.

Cuomo has a double-digit lead over his opponent in many polls.

Cuomo is heading to Brooklyn Thursday for a closed-door meeting with African-American leaders.
