John from Staten Island

For Staten Island with a growing population of almost 500 thousand people has two hospitals which have closed over the years. Doctor's Hospital was taken over by the affiliate of North Shore LIJ many years ago. Bayley Seton hospital only operates with limited services. The health environment is now a Big Box Medical system with North Shore LIJ dominating the services with profit high on the priority list.
