Guest Picks: Charles Busch

Charles Busch stopped by The Leonard Lopate Show to talk about some of his favorite music, movies, tv shows, and more!

What have you read or seen lately (book, play, film, etc.) that moved or surprised you?

Elaine Stritch in A Little Night Music – fascinating, bold and moving.

What are you listening to right now?

I keep downloading ‘70s disco hits from iTunes – my all-time favorite is “Native New Yorker”

What’s the last great book you read?

A new biography of Somerset Maugham

What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?

If you only had one day left, how would you spend it in New York City?

I’d sit in Abingdon Square Park, on one of the most beautiful blocks in NYC, and right outside my window – and I’d love to have dinner with my

closest friends and family at Jean George.
