I would not give a dime to this cause. These are the people that danced in the street after 9/11.
They still accept the lie the the Israelis did it or that we did the attack. After all the aid they still hate the USA. No Thanks.

We helped Haiti more than Pakistan because we have more capitalist there taking advantage of cheap labor than Pakistan. It is merely an economic decision. Pakistan could pledge futures on their mineral wealth to purchase their own relief. Isn't that what we are fighting for anyway? We won't be able to exploit that wealth until we instal a pro American unified government.

In regards to donations, I noted that the opportunities to donate to the Pakistanis have not been so advertised as the Haitian donation requests. It seems that if you want to donate to the Pakistanis, you have to be proactive to find donation opportunities.

Even though I believe the under-enthusiastic response to this crisis is in large part due to donor fatigue, I believe Americans and other Western nations have been less compassionate due to the perception that anti-Western sentiments are wide-spread in Pakistan. This isn't being discussed in the news, but I have a feeling that this is playing a significant role.

Where are the 55 other Muslim countries, especially the oil rich Arab states in aid to Pakistan? How much have they contributed?

We keep hearing how Haitians aren't seeing most of the money donated to help them after the earthquake there, and that if we don't help people in Pakistan then terrorists will... So where is the best place to send some money that will actually get to the Pakistanis on the ground?
