Bloomy is ignoble. Some things you
don't lie about. But who'd going to
vote for WWE Barbie? A hobson's
choice....

Lamont deserved to win over Malloy,
who played on class resentments.
Then again, Ned belongs in the
U.S. Senate, and next time out,
just mght get there, trouncing
Lieberman yet again.

Really disappointed in today's show. Among the key questions that no one raised were:
1. What are the key issues that Connecticut is facing now? (Crime, education, environment, poverty, waterfront, industries, Navy, other?) Which of these need to be handled at a federal level?

2. What are the candidates' positions on these issues? What are they proposing to do once in office? How valid are their proposals?

3. How likely would they be to actually get their proposals through the Senate? What skills are required to be effective in the Senate? How does each candidate's skills match up?

4. What are each candidate's corporate affiliations? Banking? Insurance? Other? How does that influence them?

In short, who is suffering in CT, and how effective is each candidate likely to be in making CT a much better place for the constituents?

Instead of concentrating on "Vietnam," WWE, and the whole horse-race, public radio needs to refocus on why we elect officials. Otherwise, you're no better than cable news.

Joe Lieberman PLEASE endorse the wrestling queen of hype! That WILL unite all Democrats and decent human beings against you.

As for Ned...he blew it when he ran to the middle. Let that be a lesson, hold the base FIRST....then run with integrity and aggressively progressive positions!

the amount of money spent by both republican and democratic front runners was offensive. Both Linda Mac and Ned Lamont harrassed us with their phone calls all day. Finally I voted for the one who DID NOT CALL.
My friends did the same on all sides.

Why is no one asking why Ms. McMannis supports use of steriods to make money? Look at any of the stars of the ring and you can see that they have likely used steroids. Not much of an example to set for young men. Her business promotes determental behavior.

Your guest is skewing the reality of McMahon's campaign. It is not "Vietnam, Vietnam, Vietnam". Listen to/ watch the ads. Its about jobs, her business etc.

Residents of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey should be depressed and concerned that Linda McMahon is bringing the politics of John Boehner, Liz Cheney and Sarah Palin to the Northeast.

McMahon is ultra-right-wing. She plagiarizes the soundbites Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush to cobble together her attack strategy.

The catch is, she knows entertainment — bread and circuses — her specialty for some 30 years.
