My jaw dropped when Rick mentioned 'The Crawling Hand' which was a favorite of mine and my 7th grade best friend back in the 70's. He described the film as 'truly execrable' - so true - it was so bad, even Mystery Science Theater never picked it up, and I have yet to see it appear on one of my 800 cable channels. I can't wait to read the book!
