French pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard’s "African Rhythms" project features music of the pygmies of Central Africa, paired with the music of Hungarian composer Gyorgy Ligeti and Steve Reich.  We'll hear Aimard playing some of these, music by Gyorgy Ligeti, and music by Steve Reich.  Plus, we'll hear some of David Lang's work "So-called Laws of Nature" and music from the Aka Pygmies as well.

Arg... Hello, these proram sound smaples are all wrong... I click on 'Road to Ruins' and I get the 'African Rhythms' program.

And if I click on 'African Rhythms' get the 'Ambient Electroacoustic Music' program.

Where is the road to ruin program?

The audio does not contain any African rhythms; only ambient acoustic/electronic music by John Luther Adams and others. Will the audio for the "African Rhythms" episode, which I was looking forward to listening to, be added soon?

I don't think the music goes with the label you've given it, but I'm really digging the ambient-acoustic set that started playing when I clicked the 'listen' button.
