Cuomo Set to Kick Off 11-Day Campaign Tour

Wednesday, July 14, 2010 - 06:11 PM

Andrew Cuomo is starting the first leg of a tour his campaign said will bring the candidate to each of New York’s 62 counties.

Cuomo starts out in the Hudson Valley tomorrow, and, over 11 days, will go to the Hudson Valley and North Country.

The tour was announced by the campaign in a press release sent at 1:42 p.m. Shortly after 6 p.m., the campaign provided more information: The Rockland County event will be at Rockland Community College's Student Union Building at 1 p.m.; another event in Putnam will take place at 4:30 p.m.

The campaign announcement says, “Cuomo will be travelling with his daughters,” and that the events will “bring together community leaders, a bipartisan group of elected officials, and dozens of volunteers.”

The campaign described the events as a way to build support for Cuomo’s agenda.
