The 20th District covers Flushing, Queensboro Hill, Mitchell Gardens, Kissena Park, Harding Heights, Auburndale, and part of Whitestone.
BIO: Chief of staff for Councilman John Liu, Choe, 39, has worked with the national Corporation for Supportive Housing, NYC Department of Finance, the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, and the city's Rent Guidelines Board. Born in Korea, Choe has lived in New York City since he was 5. He is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton and earned a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

Yen S. Chou
BIO: Chou has served as a member of the Community School Board in District 26, and as a special liaison for Councilman David Weprin. A native of Taiwan, Chou, 36, holds degrees from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and from St. John’s University. She has taught at Mary Louis Academy in Jamaica, Queens, and at Queensborough Community College.

BIO: A native of Korea, Jung moved to New York in 1986, and soon after started community organizing with the Young Korean American Service and Education Center, where he was elected president in 2005. Jung is on the Board of Directors of the New York Immigration Coalition.

Isaac M. Sasson
BIO: Sasson, 68, is president of the Holly Civic Association and a longtime member of Community Board 7, Queens. Born in Syria, Sasson grew up in Lebanon and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 15. Sasson spent most of his professional career working in cancer research and foundation relations at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He has served a two-year tour in the U.S. Army, and holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Connecticut.
