Climbing for Bin Laden

The third climber from last summer's rash of New York Times building scalers has has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless endangerment.

David Malone, of West Hartford, Connecticut was arrested on July 9 for ascending to the 11th floor and draping a banner that depicted Bin Laden holding Bush like a puppet with the words, "Bin Laden's Plan." This is also title of Malone's book and Web site.

He was sentenced to conditional discharge, meaning he must complete five days of community service and not be re-arrested in the next six months, and his case will be dismissed.
