The film "Kandahar" is having its New York release tonight (Friday) at the Lincoln Plaza Cinema. We previewed the movie a few weeks ago, just before an unofficial video screening at Columbia University. Now Judith Kampfner has had a chance to talk to the director and to the woman who's story forms the basis of the film's plot.
