Ten Thousand Pipers in Central Park

Email a Friend
New York is bracing for a massive (and noisy) event. On
April 6th, 10,000 bagpipers from all over the world will descend on Central Park for "Tunes of Glory." They're hoping to break the world record for number of bagpipes playing in unison. Brendan Glynn, who has played the bagpipes for just over a year, plans to join the throngs in Central Park. He is from Far Rockaway, Queens where, he says, pipers are quite common.
