Graduation in New York City

Commencement season is well underway, with graduates completing what was certainly an extraordinary school year. The attacks of September 11th, and how students dealt with them, have been a part of commencement speeches across the country. WNYC's Richard Hake has collected a sampling of graduation addresses in our area. He begins his report in Washington Square Park, where 15-thousand people gathered for New York University's ceremonies.
