Katrina Evacuees Face Deadlines

The Radission Hotel in Queens is letting the 30 evacuees from Hurricane Katrina stay, for now - even if the federal emergency management agency or FEMA stops paying for their rooms.

Besides the Radisson, there are about a dozen other hotels where evacuees are still staying. For many of them, the deadline to move out is Monday, others have until about March First.

WNYC's Kathleen Horan went to two hotels to speak to some of the people still there.
