Giuliani Visits New Hampshire

Sunday, January 28, 2007

Former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani has been in New Hampshire this weekend.

REPORTER: Speaking in Manchester Saturday, Giuliani said he believes he can help restore confidence in the government. New Hampshire voter Kevin Smith says he liked what Giuliani had to say.

SMITH: I think he played up his leadership role that he had in New York City. And I think he showed he has leadership skills in the areas of health care, growing the economy and, especially, fighting the war on terror.

REPORTER: It's Giuliani's first visit to New Hampshire state since he formed an exploratory committee late last year for the 2008 GOP presidential nomination.
