Thursday, November 01, 2007

The Yankees' new manager, Joe Girardi, says he won't know how he'll manage the team until he knows who's on it. Girardi was officially introduced to New Yorkers today.

REPORTER: Despite a month of upheaval in the Bronx, Girardi says he doesn't feel like he needs to assure players the team is stable.

GIRADI: In every organization there is change from time to time. That's just the nature of the business. But you have to remember this is the New York Yankees. It is a stable organization. It's not going anywhere.
