Kenyan Immigrants Protest at UN

At least a few thousand Kenyan immigrants live in Jersey City and the surrounding area. WNYC’s Marianne McCune met with some of them across from the UN.

In Nairobi, rioters are tearing up the streets and more than 300 people have been killed in regional violence following the contested results of last week's presidential election

A group of Kenyan immigrants – mostly from New Jersey – were undeterred by the cold yesterday. They stood for hours on a street corner opposite the United Nations headquarters, calling on the world to stop the chaos in Kenya.
