Speech Seen as Closure for Clinton Supporters

New York delegates were among the Democrats who gave Hillary Clinton a rousing ovation on the second night of their national convention. Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion says he saw the reaction of staunch Clinton supporters who felt she should have been the nominee. But he says he believes her speech was convincing to turn their support to her formal rival Barack Obama.
CARRION: Many people came into this hall, you could see the frowns and smirks on the faces as she was coming on. A lot of Hillary supporters needed to hear this.
