City Marks Anniversary of Attacks with Silence, Song

It began with a moment of silence, to mark the time the first plane hit the North Tower, and ended with a chorus singing "I Will Remember You."

REPORTER: The seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center was marked with solemn remembrance of those who died, and the reading of their names.

Donna Cavanaugh, who lost her brother Charles Karzewski at the World Trade Center, descended to bedrock after hearing his name read.

CAVANAUGH: I laid a picture of my brother, and the flowers, and said a prayer.

REPORTER: Tonight, two beams of light will be projected into the night sky. The Tribute in Light will last until dawn.
