Stocks Up but Credit Still Down

After being down most of the trading session stocks turned higher into the close as investors nervously wait for some kind of resolution on the government's proposed financial bailout. The Dow closed up 121 points -- just over one percent. The NASDAQ was down just 3 points. Credit markets though remain tense, although there were indications that they have loosened slightly. Here with some reaction to what's going on in the stock and credit markets is Justin Lahart, economics reporter for the Wall Street Journal.
