Can Hockey Attract New Fans?
Friday, October 03, 2008
New York, NY –
The Mets collapsed. The Yankees never came together and for the first time in more than a decade there is no baseball in New York this October. It's trying all sorts of new things to attract new fans including playing games outdoors and starting the season in Europe, where the Rangers begin on Saturday. WNYC's Dan Blumberg and Lynn Zinser of the New York Times preview the season.
