Paterson Launches Campaign Web Site
Wednesday, October 08, 2008
New York, NY –
Governor Paterson says he's officially seeking election to a full term in 2010, and he's taken a step to do so. The governor launched a new web site yesterday, called patersonforny.com. It's not specifically labeled a campaign web site, but there is a link for financial contributions.
When questioned about the site, the governor joked that he was following in the footsteps of New York City's mayor.
PATERSON: What I can announce today is I'm gonna run for a third term. (laughs) Just like Mayor Bloomberg.
REPORTER: So far Paterson has raised more than $3 million for his campaign.
His new web site is accessible to the visually and hearing impaired.
