City Council Passes Mayor's Term Limits Bill

By a vote or 29 to 22, current office holders can serve 3 terms instead of 2

Bob, a very close vote. More than 10 Councilmembers waited until the last minute to declare their position. Upper West Side councilwoman Gail Brewer was one of them. She voted no, saying that, while she agreed with the mayor's bill, she doesn't like the way it was presented.
