MTA adopts fare hikes, service cuts

They said they didn't want to do it, but board members of the MTA say they had no other choice. They voted almost unanimously yesterday to boost fares and tolls by about 25 percent, and to reduce service on many of the region's bus, train and subway lines. WNYC's Mathew Schuerman reports.
