NYers Can Call 511 for Transit Info

There's 411 and 311 Now New Yorkers can call 511 to get the latest transportation information.

OPERATOR: You can ask for information on traffic conditions, public transportation and ferries, paratransit or ridesharing.

REPORTER: That's the voice of the hotline's automated operator. The service also offers information about airports, New York City's 311, or New Jersey's 511.

You can also switch to another region of New York 511 or you can speak to an MTA representative.
