Trial Continues of Three NYPD Officers Accussed of Assaulting a Bklyn Man

Thursday, January 28, 2010

Three New York City police officers are on trial in State Supreme Court in Brooklyn. These officers are accused of sexually assaulting a Brooklyn man at a subway station during an arrest.

REPORTER: They deny the incident and defense attorneys have sought to discredit Michael Mineo's claims, in part, by questioning his character.

Kareem Fahim is a reporter for the New York Times and he's been in the courtroom covering the story. He joins WNYC's Richard Hake with this report.
