Immigration Reformers Launch NYS Tour

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

Immigration reform has been on the back burner in Congress but a group of New Yorkers wants to end that with a road trip. The group plans to visit towns across the state and pressure politicians to join in their cause. Kevin Kwok is one of the dozen road trippers.

KWOK: As one of the leading gateways in the country for immigration we're really trying to make sure New York is galvanized and ready to mobilize our base to make sure comprehensive immigration reform passes in 2010.

REPORTER: Kwok faults the Obama administration for not pushing for immigration reform. The road trip is being coordinated by the New York Immigration Coalition.
