What have you read or seen recently (book, play, film etc…) that moved or surprised you?
The Places in Between by Rory Stewart, about his extraordinary journey, on foot, through Afghanistan.  Enlightening and fantastic- a must read!
What are you listening to right now?
Camera Obscura, a bond out of Scotland
What’s the last great book you read?
Dave Eggers’ Zeitoun was the most gripping book I’ve read in a long time.
What’s one thing you are a fan of that people might not expect?
I adore burgers and seek out the best I can find when I visit the US
If you only had one day left, how would you spend it in New York City?
I would spend time browsing bookstores, kitchen equipment stores, the Union Square greenmarket, and possibly shop for a new pair of jeans.
