Leonard's Questions: Deirdre O'Connell

Friday, January 08, 2010

Deirdre O'Connell likes listening to the music played at the yoga studio. She filled us in on her interests after her appearance on The Leonard Lopate Show.

What have you read or seen recently (book, play, film, etc…) that moved or surprised you?
Disgrace was the scariest book I’ve ever read
A book called “Artists in the Studios” by an artist named Fig who makes miniatures of painters’ studios and asks them great questions about how they work – I didn’t know the pictures of the studios were miniatures until I was way into the book
What are you listening to right now?
Whatever they play at the yoga studio
What’s the last great book you read?
Somewhere Towards the End
What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?
Shooting guns
If you only had one day left, how would you spend it in New York City?
Probably in my pjs in my apartment – I’d get takeout from Babo
