What have you read or seen over the past year (book, play, film, etc…) that moved or surprised you?
The play Circle Mirror Transformation was completely unexpected.  Taking place in an acting class in Vermont, it branched into several worthy topics with humor and insight.
What are you listening to right now?
"Bandera" by Aterciopelados, "Don't Break My Heart" by Faye Wong, "Now I'm Gone" by Juliana Hatfield

A Chance Acquaintance by William Dean Howells
What’s one thing you’re a fan of that people might not expect?
Mountain climbing—I'm a member of the NE111 and co-edit a mountainering magazine
If you only had one day left, how would you spend it in New York City?
