So when are we going to test the premise that rich people will leave if they're taxed. The middle class and poor can't leave and so are fair game for regressive taxes and service cuts. Yet combined there are more middle class and poor voters who either don't vote or consistently vote against their own interests. And so it goes.

Well, gee, it's amazig what a politician can do when he is not spending his time and energy trying to get re-elected. Even thoughI didn't vote for him, Gov Christie is operating the same way here in NJ and actually accomplishing something.
