Documentarian Jon Alpert, former drug dealerĀ Ronald Merritt, and Phyllis Clayburne Watson, who lost her son in a shooting, talk about the Beyond Bullets campaign, which seeks to deter gun violence through moviemaking.

Beyond Bullets, a production of DCTV, encourages young filmmakers to make documentaries about how gun violence has affected their communities.

It is so good that Beyond Bullets is making such a mark working on eliminating gun violence. Thank you Lenard Lopate Show for the interview and for making more people aware of the efforts of the filmmakers and staff to bring this to the schools.
