It's that time again for the monthly program of new releases. John Schaefer picks through the bucketloads of CDs that have flooded his office to find new releases worthy of showcasing on this New Sounds program. The selections include tunes from a new Robert Fripp & Brian Eno release, "The Equatorial Stars," and original music from superhuman drummer/percussionist Jim Black. Plus, new music from the Divine Comedy, with an album called "Absent Friends."
