Whether or not you’re not headed to this winter's Mardi Gras festivities in New Orleans, New Sounds will give you a taste of the vibrant musical scene that surrounds Fat Tuesday. Listen to Crescent City favorites like Zachary Richard, A. Leroy, Women of the Calabash, Henry Butler, and Bo Dollis and the Wild Magnolias (from a New Sounds Live event at BAM in 1994). Plus, a taste of the heavy party-funk of the Rebirth Brass Band in their rendition of "Mardi Gras In New Orleans."
