This edition of New Sounds presents Rabbi Haim Louk, originally from northern Morocco, who now lives in L.A. and leads a large congregation of Moroccan and other Sephardic Jews. He returned to Fez to perform in the Fez Festival of World Sacred Music. Hear the Arabo-Andalouse Orchestra of Fez and Rabbi Haim Louk, plus more performances recorded live on location in the Bab Makina (the royal courtyard) in Fez, Morocco from the 2001 Festival.
